Can your TI-83 Do this?
And I know the answer ot this one:
Can your Android PHONE do this? (No)
This summer I will be converting my most popular programs to Android apps.
You can’t use them on the AP test, but you can still use them!
Over the last three years I’ve been to a couple of AP institutes, and talked with many AP Stats teachers. And taught my own AP Stats classes.
Most of my students have the low budget TI-83.
My old text book would say things like: You can do this with Mini Tab , or Fathom.
So, I’ve created some pretty cool programs for the TI – 83.
Why? Because I can! I’ve been a programmer for years, and I love to create programs using the basic ti-83 language that can do something
NO ONE ELSE has done.
I have developed some cool simulation programs, A frequency plotter, and any stats program built into the TI-84 , I’ve created for the Ti-83
I have Chi squared programs for the Ti-83 GOF, Independence, Homogeneity. A cool frequency grapher for your 2 way tables.
A Randomizing simulation for the famous M& M problem.
Instead of having to enter data using matrices, my programs prompt you for row and column, then do all the work for you, storing the original data (including totals) as [A], expected values in [B], and individual Chi values in matric [C].
Instead of running Binomial, and Geometric distributions, I have programs that do all the dirty work and store the data in L1 and L2.
I’ll be putting up some examples soon!
Here is the 2014 AP testing schedule:
AP Statstics will be at 12:00 p.m. on Friday May 9, 2014
